A donut, but not really.


For whatever reason, I'm craving a donut. Not just any donut, a French Cruller.

I remember as a kid, seeing the local donut shop frost them in pink and orange (of course maple, white and chocolate too). Really? Orange icing? Yes really. Why?

A simple, slightly sweet and egg-y fritter with a hot cup of coffee (and as I read somewhere a while back: with sweetened condensed milk is how they do it in Vietnam) and I'm in heaven.
