Been having lots of conversations over lots of coffee over "made in America."
Not a new idea. But if we want things to get better here at home, maybe we should be making conscious decisions to look at where things are manufactured. I think we've gotten a little spoiled about how cheap things can be - that it's hard to put $20 down for something you can get for $4.99.
I think that's why the artisan movement is so important, because you get details and nuances that aren't available in mass production.
I've been a fan of the Brooklyn brand Hayden Harnett (and recently acquired a handbag). Totally psyched to see that they're sourcing and manufacturing in America! Check out their neat little video below.
